  1. Why I cannot place calls to a phone number?  
 
•   Make sure you have a valid ITSP account. You can view your account balance by clicking Account and login to My Information page.
•   Check the number you dialed including country code, area code and phone number.
•   Make sure there is no other people login using your user name and password.
•   Make sure you are connected to DSG ITSP Network. When connected, the status button on SoftPhone is green and states ON; on USB Phone S200, the LED labeled ready is on
•   Check if you are in PC-to-Phone Mode.


   
  2. Why I cannot log in?  
 
•   Make sure your have valid ITSP account. When you login using a user name without valid ITSP account, you are not able to launch DSG SoftPhone application. After you obtain a valid ITSP account, go to http://Softphone.dsg.com.tw. Using your user name and password to login and go to Modify ITSP Account to edit your new ITSP account.
•   Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
•   Make sure there are no other people using your user name, password or ITSP account.


   
  3. Why I cannot make calls to a remote PC installed DSG SoftPhone or user equipped IPStar, InterStar and InterPhone?  
 
•   Make sure the remote party obtains a real IP address. You are not able to reach a PC or other DSG VoIP Device users configured a private IP address.
•   Make sure there are no other people using your ITSP account.
•   Make sure you are connected to DSG ITSP Network. When connected, the status button on SoftPhone is green and states ON and on USB Phone S200, the LED labeled ‘ready’ is on.
•   Check if you are in PC-to-IP mode.


   
  4. Why I cannot launch my DSG SoftPhone application?  
 
•   Make sure you are not running other voice messaging software on your computer.
•   Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.


   
  5. Why I cannot hear the voice of the remote party when using USB Phone S200?  
 
•   Make sure your audio device is directed to USB Phone S200. You can click Options and start Audio Set Wizard again to set the preferred audio device to USB Phone S200.
•   Make sure you do not set USB Phone S200 to be “mute”.
•   Make sure your USB Phone S200 is connected to your computer properly.



   
  6. Why I cannot hear the voice of the remote party with my microphone and speakers?  
 
•   If you use your microphone and speaker, make sure they are connected to your computer properly.
•   Make sure your preferred audio device on DSG SoftPhone is directed to your audio device.
•   Make sure the audio volume of your computer system is turned on.
•   Make sure your computer is installed a sound card.
•   Make sure there is nothing running on your computer such as CD player, MP3 player, etc. that may be using your sound card.
