Installation |

You will need to install
DSG SoftPhone and connect USB Phone S200 to your computer
to complete the setup. |

Before
You Start |

Before you install, make sure your PC meet the minimum
system requirement below.
• Windows 98SE,
ME, 2000 or XP
• Pentium 166 or higher
• 10 MB hard disk space
• Available
USB port
• CD ROM drive
• 32
MB RAM
• Internet access
• Microsoft
Internet Explorer 4.0 or later
Make sure you have the followings.
• Prepare the DSG SoftPhone software. You
can find DSG SoftPhone software in the compliment CD
when purchasing USB Phone S200. Or you can download
the latest software version from our web site.
• DSG USB Phone S200
• Obtain a valid ITSP Account from local
dealers. DSG ITSP Network provides Internet telephony
services allowing you to make PC-to-Phone and PC-to-IP
calls.

Installation |

Step 1. Installing DSG SoftPhone
Insert the DSG CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
The setup wizard will start automatically. Follow the
on-screen instruction to complete the installation of
DSG SoftPhone application.
If the setup wizard does not start when you insert the
CD, click Windows Start Menu and select Run. In the dialog
box, type 'd:\setup', where 'd' is your CD-ROM drive,
then click Ok. You can also double click on d:\setup from
Windows Explorer.
After successful installation of DSG SoftPhone, you
will see the DSG SoftPhone appear in Program Menu and
has a shortcut on your Desktop. If your computer requires
you to reboot, restart your computer.
Step 2. Installing USB Phone S200
Make sure the DSG CD is inserted in the CD-ROM drive of
your computer, and then connect USB Phone S200 to your
computer's USB port. If you are a Windows ME,
200 or XP user, your computer will prompt a pop-up
screen “New Hardware Found”
and install the necessary drivers from DSG CD automatically.
If your computer’s OS is Windows 98,
you might see a dialog box requiring you to select the
drivers. Follow the procedures below to install drivers.
1. Under 'What do you want Windows
to do?', select 'Display a list of all the drivers in
a specific location, so you can select the driver you
want' and then click Next.
2. Specify a location to d:\usb_phone_driver,
where 'd' is your CD-ROM drive. Click Next to install
'tjcom.inf'.
3. After installing the first driver,
your computer will prompt a pop-up screen and require
you to install other drivers.
4. Follow the above procedures to specify
the location to d:\usb_phone_driver and install 'tjusbdev.inf'
and 'tjusbaud.inf'.
Step 3. Checking the completion
After the installation, check if your computer is successfully
installed the required three drivers.
1.
Click Windows Start menu. Move to Settings and select
Control Panel.
2. Double click System.
Under System Properties, click the Device Manager tab.
3. Make sure under 'Sound, video and
game controllers' there is 'USB Internet Phone by TigerJet'
item and under 'Universal Serial Bus controllers' there
are 'TigerJet USB Composite Device' and 'TigerJet USB
Handset with Keypad Device.' |

Audio
Wizard |

When the first time you run DSG SoftPhone, the audio wizard
will be launched automatically to fine-tune your voice
input and output. Follow the on-screen instructions to
make sure your USB Phone S200 is working properly.
You can fine tune your voice at any time by clicking
Options icon and selecting Audio Set Wizard from DSG
SoftPhone.
Note:
On the ‘Adjust the playback volume’ window,
make sure the ‘USB Internet Phone by TigerJet’
is selected as the preferred audio device.

Registration
and Login |

DSG ITSP Network services allow you to place calls from
your computer to worldwide regular phones or other DSG
VoIP devices. To enjoy the services, you have to obtain
a valid ITSP account and register with DSG Account Center.
1. Open DSG SoftPhone and you will
see the login screen.
2. Click the Create New Account button
to create your own account. You will then be connected
to DSG ITSP Services website to fill out the registration
form.
3. On the Register page, input your
User Name, ITSP Account, Password and confirm the Password
and other required fields.
4. Click the Submit button to complete
the registration.
5. On SoftPhone login screen, input
the user name and password you created to log in.
On the login screen, you can select the check box of
‘Remember User Name and Password’ for quick
accessing DSG SoftPhone later. If you use a public computer,
do not select this check box.
DSG SoftPhone allows more than one user to enjoy the
Internet telephony. You can login using the other User
Name and Password or after login click Options icon
and select Change User.
Note:
The user name and password are case sensitive and should
not exceed 10 characters. You should keep your user
name and password in a safe place.
